Thanks to the endowment fund of $32 billion dollars, Harvard has plenty of financial aid to go around; making a Harvard education more accessible for middle-class families.
The Bay Area News Group is reporting that according to a Harvard official, room and board and other expenses would cost about $24,000 at Cal State, East Bay and $33,000 at UC Santa Cruz as compared to $17,000 at Harvard University with financial aid. These figures assume the student comes from a family of four with an annual income of less than $130,000.
