Keep your eyes on University of Miami’s record breaking freshman and dual athlete Artie Burns. He is definitely making a statement in the world of Track and Field. At the Don Kirby Elite Invitational, he ran a 7.68 in the 60m hurdles surpassing the 38 year record time of 7.70 set by Robert Gaines in 1976. Burns also holds some of the best times in the men’s 60m hurdles in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) this year.
